Ok, it’s not really free because of the time and money you invested in growing your plant, but it feels cool when you walk into the garden and you just eat right off of your plant. That feels really free! Free from having to always buy your fruits and veggies from the supermarket. Being able to be self sufficient and shop for free in your own garden so to speak.

It’s hard to get kids to eat vegetables, but if you grow if they helped you out in the garden, Once you start growing your own produce, it is addicting. The joy of seeing your garden flourish with food, is exciting. Growing your own vegetables from seed is as organic as you can get. It lets you eat with the season and the vegetables that ripened in your garden are sure to have more nutrients because you have more control over the soil and fertilizer.
