I was really sad to hear the sudden closure of one of my favorite nurseries, Annie’s Annuals and Perennials. Shortly after their closure, I was happy to hear that they are keeping it alive with new owners and renaming it as Curious Flora Nursery. I’ve always loved going to Annie’s or now Curious Flora because I could see examples of what the starter plants turn into. They have these handwritten signs in front of the starter plants they are selling and the picture of the plant in full bloom. They also grow their plants onsite and they are just gorgeous. The pots are flourishing and abundant with flowers and it’s just a sight to see during spring and summer. When you need to take a break from the world and unwind, it’s nice to stop here to look and get some new inspiration. I’m inserting photos that I took, but being winter, nothing is growing much so I will be following up with their garden in spring.
